Chalk Paint Workshops
Would you or a group of friends like to learn to paint your own piece of furniture?
In my lovely studio, close to Basel, I offer workshops where you will learn how to transform an old table, chair or cupboard into a new and personalized piece of furniture.
The classes are small and informal and the atmosphere relaxed. There is no need to have any prior furniture painting experience or artistic abilities.
I work with Annie Sloan chalkpaints. They are easy to use, no prep work necessary, that means no priming and no sanding!

What you learn
- Basic techniques on how to use chalk paint.
- Two layering and dry brush techniques.
- How to achieve the "shabby chic" and "vintage look".
- How to apply wax.
- How to work with dark wax.
What to bring
- Everything is provided but you may bring an apron if you wish.
- We will work on small wooden boards, which you can take home plus workshop notes.
