Hello, my name is Ruth and I work in Basel as an Interior Designer with a great passion for colour and creativity. I love the beauty in life's imperfections, through which I am creating a constantly evolving home. The inspiration for my work comes from all around the world, from foreign countries, food, flowers as well as literature and art.

I have always enjoyed travelling and have visited places such as India, China, Africa and the Middle East. Those countries with their individual culture and people have had a great impact on the development of my style. However, no matter how far I travel there is one place, which will always be close to my heart - and this is London.

Not only does the city feed me with endless inspiration, but it is also where my career as an Interior Designer began after I  graduated from the KLC London Design School with a degree in Interior Design. Prior to that I  worked as a bookseller for Orell Füssli in Basel  where I'm still working as a freelance stylist to set up the Christmas decorations all around Switzerland.

If I'm not busy creating a space or painting in my studio I like to go to art galleries, cook, spend time in my garden and with my lovely family and friends.
